There is a range of incredible restaurants on the French Riviera that offer an idyllic setting: sea view, sunset, natural decoration… If there is one that ticks all these boxes, it is the restaurant Le Cabanon in Cap d’Ail! Its original location on the Pointe des douaniers makes this place a must-try address. You will be amazed by the beauty of this simple and authentic place.
The decoration based on natural materials (wood, natural stones, terracotta, lime plaster) will transport you elsewhere. Enough to compete with the best restaurants in Nice:p
1. Le Cabanon restaurant in Cap d’Ail
Le Cabanon restaurant is a Provencal restaurant, formerly an old fisherman’s cottage, which offers a rich and varied menu. The dishes offered are inspired by Lebanese, Greek and Oriental cuisine.
There are several dishes on the menu that will make you salivate, such as the famous octopus salad, which can be found on all Mediterranean menus. For the veggies, you will opt for the hummus, the pita bread, the Lebanese tabbouleh etc… As for the carnivores, you will be entitled to the famous grilled fish or meat and much more! There is plenty to tempt your taste buds. The dishes are prepared with fresh and local products from the Nice market.
The Cabanon restaurant has an indoor room that is comfortable. In sunny weather, visitors will prefer the outdoor terrace, which has plenty of cover. Trees adorn the square and act as umbrellas to shelter the outdoor terrace. Some tables offer a view of the sea (don’t hesitate to book these tables). Would you rather admire the relief of the rocks than the flatness of the sea? You can reserve a table with a view of the rocks of Cap d’ail. Under the shade of its trees, Le Cabanon Cap d’Ail offers guests a feeling of peace and quiet in the heart of nature.
