After two months of summer madness this year, a monstrous heatwave, festivals and concerts of all kinds… It’s high time to slow things down. Rest assured, it’s still feeling like summer in the south of France, with temperatures still so high and sunny days… Many events continue to be organised throughout September. Let’s take a closer look at what’s on
1. Grasse Beer Festival
It’s not just in Germany and England that beer is celebrated, the south of France also has its own festival. The main reason for this is to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the twinning between the town of Grasse and Ingolstadt, a German town in Bavaria
The event takes place from 7 to 10 September and features a wide range of activities, including children’s games, musical entertainment, and introductory sessions and friendly matches in square boules

2. The “Monaco pour l’Emploi” Forum
The Government of Monaco is launching its employment forum on 15 September at the Grimaldi Forum. For a whole day, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, job seekers will be able to meet Monegasque employers and discover their job offers
Corners will be set up according to sector of activity for meetings between employers and candidates. This is an opportunity for Monaco to meet job applicants

3. Toy Tonics on the beach at the Hotel Amour Nice
The musical events continue in Nice with the Hotel Amour beach organising mini concerts. Next up is Toy Tonics, a German electro house label who will be performing on 16 September. The perfect group to keep you dancing to the rhythms of the continuing summer in the south

4. Musical event at 109: BELAPREM x SOLAIR
Also on 16 September, another musical event will be taking place at the famous contemporary culture centre to the east of Nice, the 109. The Belaprem and Solair collectives are joining forces to transport you into a groovy-funk-disco atmosphere. For the occasion, the 109 will be transformed into a tropical paradise, so get your best summer outfit ready
There will be games, food, bars and activities of all kinds to keep you and your mates entertained all weekend
