I’m back on the blog to share with you a superb place that I discovered this week and that the people of Nice have been waiting for so long! I was lucky enough to take part in the inauguration of the new premium sports club in Nice on 5 February and I couldn’t wait to write the article to share my experience and my feelings with you.
Flexx Club Nice is a sports club that opened at the end of 2024 right in the centre of Nice. It is positioned as a premium space combining sport, well-being and top-of-the-range services, like Club Metropolitan Nice in the famous CAP3000 shopping centre. At its inauguration, I was finally able to find out more about this superb and unique venue, which stands out for its elegant atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities.
A modern and friendly setting
As soon as you enter, you’re drawn into the main hall, which houses all the sports equipment in an impressivearchitectural and decorative design : a vast, light-filled space with a high ceiling, sleek design and top-of-the-range equipment. The welcome is warm, and the team are on hand to answer questions and guide visitors around the various facilities.
Top-of-the-range sports equipment
The club offers a wide range of top-of-the-range equipment, suitable for all levels: from beginners to experienced athletes.
You’ll find :
- A complete weight training area with connected Technogym machines,
- An immersive cycling studio, perfect for an ultra-motivated experience,
- An area dedicated to cross-training, TRX and boxing, ideal for fans of intense training.
Added to this, a variety of group classes are on offer: yoga, pilates, HIIT, bootcamp, as well as aquafitness sessions in the heated indoor pool.
Well-being area with swimming pool and Spa
Like Club Metropolitan, Flexx Club Nice offers a wellness area with sauna, hammam and a whirlpool for a moment of total relaxation. A treatment area is also available, offering massages and facials by professionals.
A healthy and delicious restaurant
The club also has a restaurant, Le Foodie, which offers a healthy and balanced diet. This restaurant is one of my favourite brunch spots in Nice. The dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, perfect for a lunch break after training.
The restaurant is open every day from 8am to 6pm.
A Coworking Space
Flexx Club Nice goes beyond the simple sports club by offering a modern, well-equipped coworking space. Unlike Club Metropolitan at Cap 3000, the Flexx coworking space is located in a private area where meeting rooms are also available. The offer is much more sophisticated, with the option of renting a personal office for a month or even several months.
Rates and subscription options
The club offers several subscription options depending on your needs:
- Annual membership: €1,925 incl. VAT per year, including access to group classes (excluding aquatics).
- Annual membership with unlimited access to aquatic classes: €2,265 incl. VAT per year.
- Entry fee: €300 incl. VAT, including a diagnostic session with a coach, a top-of-the-range sports bag and several invitations to test the club.
- Day pass: €50 incl. VAT on weekdays and €65 incl. VAT at weekends, giving access to the facilities, group classes and wellness area.
- Group aquatic classes: €9.90 incl. VAT per session, available in booklets of 10.
- Private coaching: €85 incl. VAT per session, available in packs of 10.
- Coworking area:
- Open Space: €500 excl. tax/month for unlimited access to the club and a dedicated workstation.
- Private office for 2 people: €1,300 excluding VAT/month including access to the club.
- Meeting room: €15 excl. tax/hour, equipped for 8 people.
Conclusion: A Premium Club for a Complete Experience
Until now, to take advantage of such a top-of-the-range offer, you had to go all the way to Cap3000’s Club Metropolitan, which is outside Nice. As I live in Nice Ouest, just 10 minutes from Cap 3000, I have no problem with this. On the other hand, I met several people at Club Metropolitan who came from Mont Boron or Nice Centre for whom it was a special effort to come all the way to Saint-Laurent du Var. So I think it’s really great that a place like Flexx Club Nice, which offers virtually the same services as Club Metropolitan, has been able to open right in the centre of Nice.
As I often like to say, this kind of place isn’t just another sports club, it’s a real experience that meets real needs. Especially since the explosion in teleworking, the need to work somewhere other than at home has become essential for most of us. Coffee shops are all well and good, but after a while are they really appropriate? I’m speaking from my own personal experience, but I think many people will recognise this. As a freelancer, I tried out all the coffee shops in Nice, but after a while I felt the need to find a more suitable space that could meet all my needs:
- an aesthetically pleasing place where I’m happy to go and where I feel good
- a place that combines sport with rich and varied classes and quality equipment
- a wellness centre with a swimming pool, sauna and steam room to relax and unwind
- a workplace with a coworking space to boost productivity
- a catering service with healthy dishes and a good latte
In short, Flexx Club Nice ticks all the boxes, so make the most of it!
