Back on the blog to talk about one of my favourite subjects: The Food haha . Looking through my latest posts, I realised that my last ‘food’ post was 3 months ago about the incredible Paneolio buffet in Nice.
So I’m back on the blog this time to share with you my new special “Nice Brunch” selection PART 2!
That’s right, a few months ago I published my first selection of 5 must-try brunch spots in Nice. This new selection is just as high-level as the first. Don’t hesitate to tell me in the comments about your favourite Nice brunch addresses.
1. Café Fino
A great classic! The café fino in Nice needs no introduction. Coffee and tea lovers will be delighted. Added to this, you’ll find a variety of dishes: avocado toast, poke bowls, granola, egg muffins… Special mention for their special café fino sandwich, the brinos, a sandwich with brioche bread and as soft as I like it filled with avocado, omelette and everything else you like.
The value for money is very good (dishes range from €7.50 to €14) and the place is ultra minimalist and uncluttered.
I love going to café fino for its accessibility, its free WIFI access and for its RNB playlist from the 2000s!
Address: 39 Rue Gioffredo, 06000 Nice
Phone number: 04 93 79 58 17
Opening times: daily from 9am to 6pm and Sunday from 9am to 5pm
2. Chez les Garçons
Another not-to-be-missed address for brunch in Nice. As soon as you walk through the door, you are transported back to your childhood: an array of board games, vinyl records and comic books are available. But Chez les Garçons is primarily a coffee shop where you can eat and drink in a very vintage atmosphere, where all the objects have been found at second-hand shops.
Like Café Fino, the menu is rich and varied, but the content is quite different. There are no brinos on the menu, but bagels, salads, bowls, savoury klubs, brioches perdues and a whole host of other delicacies. Add to that fresh juices, lattes, coffee, bubble tea and, above all, special ‘house’ elixirs. Find out more about their menu.
Dishes range in price from €8.50 to €19.5. They are slightly more expensive than other brunches.
Address: 1 Rue Niepce, 06000 Nice
Telephone number: 04 93 80 42 59
Opening times: Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm
3. Kinds & Co
This is one of the best-rated brunch addresses in Nice on Google. At the time of writing, they have a rating of 4.8 with 200 reviews. I don’t always trust the ratings because I like to make up my own mind, but I have to admit that after tasting their hot chocolate, coffee and brioche perdu…. I’ve rarely been so won over.
Their menu doesn’t have as much choice as Café Fino or Chez les Garçons, but that’s no bad thing. You’ll still find some must-try dishes such as bagels, eggs on toast, avocado toast, pancakes, salads… Discover their entire menu HERE
Their cooking is organic and the dishes are prepared with seasonal produce.
You can enjoy all these dishes in a natural, uncluttered and well-thought-out decor.
Prices range from €6 to €15, which is still very reasonable.
It’s also a place where you can work, as the WIFI is free. I’d recommend going on Wednesdays, as that’s the only day the restaurant closes at 6pm.
Address: 16 Rue Delille, 06000 Nice
Phone number: 04 92 14 33 29
Opening Hours:
sunday 10:00-15:00
monday 09:00-15:30
tuesday 09:00-15:30
wednesday 09:00-18:00
thursday 09:00-15:30
friday 09:00-15:30
4. La Ronronnerie
One of the most original addresses in Nice, where you can enjoy your coffee surrounded by 4 cats ready to snuggle up between your legs. You’ll meet Pépito, Vanilla, Kayda and Loumi.
Although La Ronronnerie attracts more visitors for their cats than for their food, you should know that this cat bar offers great dishes made with love such as bagels (I’m not a big bagel fan but I must admit their bagel is delicious), salads, waffles, toast and great coffee.
What’s more, the WIFI is accessible to everyone and I was able to work there without any problems, even with cats.
Address: 4 Rue de Lépante, 06000 Nice
Telephone number: 09 51 51 26 50
Opening times : Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 9am to 7pm
5. Maranna
This new brunch spot in the heart of Vieux-Nice is a big hit.
In an authentic, simple and minimalist setting, you can enjoy tasty, well-decorated dishes. You’ll find more or less the same dishes as in the other restaurants, with a few differences: toast, burgers, granola, scrambled eggs, French toast… You’ll also find some good hot drinks (coffee, matcha, chai latte…)
Prices range from €7 to €15.
Address: 31 Rue Benoît Bunico, 06300 Nice
Opening times : Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm
6. La popote d’ondine
Another classic brunch in Nice. Well, in all honesty, I’d already tried this address once 5/6 years ago but I wasn’t won over. When my friend suggested I go there, I frowned a little, but we’re all entitled to a second chance, so I accepted with a huge dose of curiosity. In the end, I had a great time with my avocado toast, my peanut butter latte and my French toast in a very cosy and warm place.
And to top it all off, they have two addresses right in the heart of Nice.
Address:
- 18 Rue Gioffredo – 06 12 11 73 98 – open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm
- 2 rue Blacas – 06 52 41 15 59 – open Monday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm

7. Garden Café Nice
The brunch at the Garden Café in Nice is without doubt the one I’ve heard the most about. It’s a brunch that’s creating a buzz for its volume, quality and value for money. So I’ve ticked all the boxes. Of all the brunches I’ve tried in Nice, the one at the garden café is without doubt the most Instagrammable – in fact, it’s the most beautiful! As well as being beautiful, it’s also good value for money (19€ for orange juice, hot drink, salmon and avocado tartine with scrambled eggs, bread with jam and butter, pancakes with red fruit coulis). I recommend you come before 11am to avoid the 30-minute queue at the weekend 🙂
Address: 37 boulevard Gambetta, 06000 Nice
Opening hours : every day from 8am to 4pm (except Sunday, closing at 3pm)

8. Foodie
A new address that has just appeared in Nice and that deserves its little place in my TOP brunch! Everything was perfect: the dishes, the coffee, the decoration, the service. Special mention for the Sunbacon composed of two slices of cereal bread with eggs and bacon for only €9. This little dish alone filled me up. Also a mention for the incredible French toast with red fruit coulis, strawberries, raspberries and a scoop of ice cream.
Can’t wait to come back to try new dishes!
Address: 2 rue Sacha Guitry, 06000 Nice
Opening hours: every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
