Now, we’re not going to lie, Nice is much better known for its quality of life by the sea, its Promenade des Anglais, its palm trees and its year-round luminosity than for its cultural and historic sites. And yet, if you look hard enough, you’ll be surprised to see all the museums in Nice that might appeal to you. Honestly, I was surprised myself to see so many museums, and I discovered it quite late. And yes, after 30 years in Paris, I was clearly spending most of my time wandering all over the region, whether it was in the villages of the French Riviera, hiking with a sea view or simply taking a seaside walk along the coastal path. Since then, I’ve decided to spend more time in Nice and explore all the nooks and crannies of the city, especially its incredible museums.
