There is a range of restaurants in Nice, each as tasty as the next. But some manage to stand out. This is the case of the restaurant Bocca Nissa located in the old town of Nice, a stone’s throw from the Cours Saleya. Opened in 2020, the Bocca Nissa is still a hit and continues to be the place to be in Nice, just like the restaurant Hotel Amour Nice. In addition to being an ultra warm place with its decoration and its beautiful dishes. Its green rooftop and its 100% natural decoration seduce many visitors.
1. Mediterranean cuisine at Bocca Nissa
Bocca Nissa offers Mediterranean cuisine without borders, prepared with fresh, local products. The motto is sharing, as the dishes are served on medium-sized plates, ideal for sharing with friends. A real moment of conviviality is required. Concerning the drinks menu, the bocca nissa proposes its most beautiful cellar of rosé to be tasted absolutely!
2. A 100% natural decoration
We appreciate the place for its fresh and natural decoration mixing materials such as wood, lime walls, ceramic furniture and greenery. This mix of materials gives a very warm aspect. A small haven of peace in the heart of the old Nice which begins with a long corridor of greenery.
For my part, of all the restaurants I have tested so far, the bocca nissa wins the prize for the best decoration.
3. A green rooftop
The highlight of the place is its rooftop terrace sheltered by canisses to protect you from the sun. Hats are available for the more fragile. It is a rooftop with 250 metres of vegetation where you will find large green plants belonging to the same family as the cacti. In the middle, a row of rough wooden tables fill the space and at the end, the bar. Its original decor makes this terrace one of the rooftops in Nice that you must try. The atmosphere is warm and lively!
4. Toilets with a “disco” look
Because details make all the difference, the toilets at the bocca nissa are really something. Once again, everything is thought out so that you can have a good time… But for this last point, I let you discover in real, you will not be disappointed!
