Summer is in full swing on the French Riviera, and it’s the perfect time to go for a dip in the sea. But for those who are looking for more comfort and want to enjoy a good plate of pasta and fruit while lying on the deckchair, there is nothing better than a good private beach. There is clearly no shortage of them on the French Riviera. The region is full of private beaches that offer a multitude of services to meet your needs.
I have therefore prepared a non-exhaustive list of 10 private beaches (the most famous ones) that you must try on the French Riviera:
1. La Petite Plage – Juan les pins
Among all the private beaches on the French Riviera, we start the TOP 10 with THE private beach located more precisely in Golfe Juan. The one that everyone is talking about at the moment, and for good reason, everything is gathered for you to have a great time: paradisiacal decor, turquoise blue sea, sand..

3km from the small beach, the sea effect also offers an idyllic setting for a beach day. Located in Juan les Pins, the beach is renowned for its delicious food and cocktails and quality service.

3. Réserve de la Mala – Cap d’ail
The Mala reserve is no longer in the limelight. Some would say that it is the most beautiful private beach on the French Riviera because of its privileged location. The Mala beach is a luxury private beach with quality services.

4. The Paloma Beach – St-Jean Cap Ferrat
One of the most famous beaches near Nice! La Paloma beach, located on the peninsula of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, offers an exceptional view to the east on the cliffs of Beaulieu sur Mer and Eze. A paddle spot on the French Riviera not to be missed.

5. The Passable Beach – St-Jean Cap Ferrat
Here is another private beach on Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat which also offers an incredible view but on the west side on the bay of villefranche sur mer. From this beach, you can also plan a walk along the coastal path of Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat by doing the Tour du Cap. Moreover, it is one of my favourite spots for snorkeling on the French Riviera.

6. The Castel Beach – Nice
Castel Plage, the famous private pebble beach in Nice, needs no introduction.

Another private beach which is on the coast in Nice is the beach of the Hotel Amour. While in winter, one goes mainly to thehotel Amour Nice rue des fleurs, in summer, one changes direction and goes to the Promenade des Anglais for its beach. One will appreciate having lunch or dinner under the parasol or on one’s mattress, to perfect one’s tan.

The new Eldorado for lovers of the French Riviera and the Mediterranean. Cala Pulpo is a private beach on the Côte d’Azur that has just been set up in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the Golfe Bleu beach. Its privileged location makes it an ideal spot for a beach day with friends or lovers.

Located on the famous beach of the small Africa in Beaulieu sur mer, La Javanaise will know how to transport you the time of a moment to Bali through its decoration carefully thought: bed in bamboo, veiling, luxuriant nature, Mediterranean dishes with a point of exoticism…
